Long tunnels

I'm not sure, but I think the Chunnel is only the second-longest tunnel in the world. The longest one, I think, is the one that connects the Japanese islands of Honshu and Hokkaido.
Last time I was there, the tunnel was still under construction and I had to take the ferry (which was quite nice.) I really ought to go back and see Hokkaido again.
