I just don't see this as being all that helpful. For one thing, if there is (sort of) bumper-to-bumper traffic, people in the somewhat backed up cars won't see these anyway. Besides that, you can't predict the response of any given driver who comes across these "obstacles". I truly think many accidents will occur because of this. What happens to the poor motorcycle driver who thinks they're real bumps and swerves to avoid them? Or the car (or worse yet truck) whose driver thinks they're real and swerves *into* a motorcycle driver? And what of 18 wheelers? If one of those drivers thinks they're real and hits the hooks, they could jack-knife. I just see all sorts of possibilities here, most of them bad. There's gotta be a better way.
