Visibility due to smoke has been very bad here and this has put a damper on our outdoor exercise program. Strangly, due to living on a hill top and the inversion layer (whatever that is-- Scott?), I was able to see the milky way in all its glory overhead last night while lateral visibility was down to two miles in the morning.
