It must be Hell to have to live like that Bob. I truly feel for you. I am not usually sympathetic toward those that are weak when they don't have to be, but you are sounding more and more like you might really like to be out of the box you're in but really can't get out. You are one of the ones that, I believe, psychiatrists are educated for. I believe you may need psychiatric help to deal with your depression and fears. A good one will convince you that there is no real basis for those fears. Medication may help you. There is some fantastic stuff out there these days.
Finally, if none of that helps, I used to know a guy in Cleveland that manufactured LSD in his bathtub. I haven't talked to him in years, but I DO still have his phone number. Spending time away from what is YOUR reality might help some, but I can't get involved in your negotiations with him.
