I find tylenol works best for me. I won't take advil, it can cause internal bleeding, and having had a relative who died from internal bleeding (not from advil) I just chose not to take it.
I don't take tylenol (or any other drug) lightly, I have to be really hurting before I turn to drugs to help me rather than another option. I usually apply warm compresses for a headache, but in the middle of Disney World, that's pretty much not an option.
