I have had two colonoscopies. The course of Fleet was such that I just had to sit on the pot and read for a couple of hours. Luckily, my last exam was clean enough, and I am old enough, that the physician said that without any symptoms I don't have to do it again.
I have diverticulosis and occasionally get diverticulitis. The recommendations about seeds and nuts has been changing. My last two physicians have said that the seeds and etc. are no longer thought to be the cause of diverticulitis. They have suggested more bulky vegetable matter in my diet (which I already do), including the seeds and nuts, and given me a course of Cipro, in advance, to take whenever I get infected.
