They had me drink two bottles, 12 hours apart, of a liquid that some technician scooped out of New Haven Harbor during the last low tide. I would never have missed what I saw though. After they mellowed me with 100mg of Demerol, I watched the whole procedure on the monitor the doctor used. I was amazed to be able to watch a camera being fed through a part of my body that, up until then, I had only heard was there. I felt LITTLE discomfort, in the way of cramping, but it was worth that.
