is a bowel cleanser, in other words a laxative. After taking it, I spread papers from my bed to the bathroom just in case I didnt make it. Lower bowel has to be completely empty or the test will not be correct. I had to take the liquid the night before the colonoscopy. It works well, feels almost like forever.
