It SHOULD say By the way, I have been alone (as far as a relationship goes) for more than 15 years. Going to weddings and other social events becomes much simpler too, as I have the option of taking someone or not. It took me about 5 years to understand what I want for myself.
I don't WANT a relationship, at least not now. It's okay to be alone, but I wouldn't want to be lonely.
