Re: Is it worth it?

Had you not said "Deep down, you know, I am lonely, very, very lonely."
I, too, have decided that a relationship just isn't for me. But I am NOT lonely. Alone, but NOT lonely. I have realized how much simpler life is for me without a S/O in my life.
At first I thoiught I would be miserable for the rest of my life, but when I weighed the pros and cons I understood who the "new me" would be, and I like it better.
If you are painfully lonely, go find what you need. It won't be easy, but what in life comes easily if it's woth having? Work for what you want, but don't "settle" Don't let your lonliness and desire step in front of your need to be realistic with yourself.
By the way, I have been alone (as far as a relationship goes) for more than 15 years. Going to weddings and other social events becomes much simpler too, as I have the option of taking someone or not. s to understand what I want for myself.
I don't WANT a relationship, at least not now.
