Those collars work, but at what price? While I don't mind using a bit of discomfort to train a dog, electric shock is beyond my limit. I deem any trainer that uses electric shock (some even go so far as to use a cattle prod) to be unethical. It works, but at what cost?
Positive reinforcement works just fine for me. But one should never confuse the animal by praising, and then trying to correct, the same actions.
