Well Mr. Luckyscore, No I don't think the Police should search every house without a warrant but I'm not sure what that has to do with registering your dna?
I personally think as far as the right to privacy goes and other rights that we have guaranteed in the Constituition that my DNA is much more sacred than the contents of my home.
Besides, do you have any idea what could be done with a database like the one you are talking about? It could be used for medical purposes; say you eventually develop a condition that is genetic in nature, a national database could be used to limit the amount an insurance company provides (I'm sorry that you have Huntington's Chorea, but as you can see from the DNA you had on file in the database you've always had it, it just hasn't shown up until now. Our policy is not to cover preexisting conditions, sorry.) Just imagine how much worse it could get if that data was used in determining breeding.
