Would you be okay with police searching houses without a warrant as long as they search every house? It's the same principle. People shouldn't be scrutinized by law enforcement unless there is a REASON to scrutinize them, unless EVEDENCE calls attention to them.
Why not have Government issued identification cards that people MUST carry for life, so that cops could just stop people on the street and run them through a database? Would THAT be okay with you too?
