The DNA evidence ALONE isn't going to convict people. SO that the people caught by an error can get out by proving they were somewhere else, etc.
BTW, I also think cars ought to have a computer chip/recording device that records how fast you were going and whether you were using a turn signal, etc., so that people can be held responsible for when they cause crashes that maim or kill people. I'm fed up with the dangerous driving I see on the roads.
