Last summer we watched ''Some Like It Hot'' and I just loved it! I had never seen it. Each weekend in the civic plaza this summer they are offering other films. This weekend additional films are being offered in neighborhood parks. The BEST tho was the simulcast last summer of the Santa Fe Opera of La Boheme!! In a park in Santa Fe the screen blew away in a storm but in our town it collapsed just as the executive director stepped on stage to open the simulcast shows. Both simulcast shows managed to be completed and it was wonderful!!! The soprano cast as Mimi looked just like Edith Bunker but there were some really lovely moments in the opera!! rafferty
