I rather enjoy the posts from people who think it's their job to tell others what is appropriate to post and what's not. That's why I responded to the "joke" about how stupid men are. My comments were designed to show that it doesn't matter who is offended when a "joke" is told, or why they are offended. If some jokes that offend are excluded, shouldn't all jokes that offend be excluded? And before one can answer THAT question, shouldn't the question of whether ANY joke that's not mean spirited be excluded? Then, who is supposed to be the judge of mean spirited, or how offensive a "joke" is to someone else?
It was all meant to be food for thought, but I guess one that had that mindset COULD mistake it for meaningless hyperbole.
