My family will get along just fine without

seeing my dead body in a casket/pine box (green might be the way to go).
I don't believe in viewings. There is no need for me to see my family/friend lying there dead.
I much prefer services that are without a casket being present. Let the preacher do his thing and on to the memorial service, and that doesn't even have to be a "service" just a get together with food and drink.
2 years ago when my nephew in law passed I was so relieved when my niece decided there would be no viewing before cremation and no service except for a brief service at the military cemetary close by. Then on to the "wake" to celebrate his life with pictures and family/friends recalling the person he was.
I hate funerals. I hate veiwings.
