I have had invisible fencing for years for my hound. It is basically a gentle reminder when she gets within three feet of the fence line that she is too close. It administers a slight zap and doesnt hurt her. I would never hurt her.
She barks a bit when outside and one neighbour reports her all the time. I refuse to get her the accessory to stop her barking because I feel I am taking something away from her if I do that.
