The salesman was too busy explaining all the features and purchase options to mention it *might* be a domestic build. I looked underneath the car (Outback) and it has the slotted tie-downs that are used to secure the vehicles in place on a cargo ship. However, that may be a universal build if Indiana is using Subaru specs. It's not like the Japanese to add unneeded parts, but then again, who knows? Once I master the dual climate controls, the 6 dicc CD player, and other mysteries, I might wonder where it was assembled. Nah!
