Re: I thought we were going All Digital, not High Def?

We don't have the cable option out here in the boonies. Whether it's cheaper or not is moot. We pay DISH $500/yr for their middle package, including 5 local feeds out of Orlando. Have no idea what a comparable cable package would run.
The time difference I noted is for direct feed to the TV - no DVR's or TIVO or anything else in the hookup. Granted, we're all going to have a delay from the instant an event is broadcast until we see it on our TV screen; the satellite feed is further delayed by the time it takes the signal to go up to the satellite and return to my antenna. ---------------------------------

Well cable doesn't make you use an antenna, doesn't crap out in the weather & unless you have a really pathetic package it's cheaper & automatically digital.
The delay is odd as well, the only time I've had a delay is when I have one tv airing regularly & one on a DVR. Even then I haven't noticed it on the cable DVR, just on the Tivo.
