We're on satellite but we can also get local broadcast channels off the antenna. The satellite is digital but I'm not certain if the signal is converted to analog at this time. Regardless, we're almost fully dedicated to satellite reception now EXCEPT during heavy, prolonged rainstorms or hurricanes when the satellite signal is interrupted.
Interesting bit of trivia: The same programming is delayed about 5 seconds on satellite vs off our antenna. Due I imagine to the longer distance the signal has to travel up to the satellite and back down. --------------------------
