because when you're a true female "Homie" (or fill in name of hardware/building supply store of choice) you'd feel "your place" is being invaded. If anything, I dress down. Easier for reaching those little plastic screw drawers they insist on putting at floor level--not fair to seniors!
Remembering back, there used to be supermarkets which featured "singles nights" and the dairy section of one market here was a favoured Sunday morning meet 'n' greet spot.
Cosmo? Who knows? Don't think it would work, 'tho. Some guys in there probably aren't interested in women who don't know the difference between an Allan wrench and Phillips screwdriver. And who aren't willing to tote their share of the 2 x 4s. And as someone mentioned in another post, there's the gay population in the paint department seeking the *exact* shade of pale pistachio. :-)
