Interesting info a political party has on me

Today I received a response to an e-mail I sent to our equivalent of, say, Nancy Pelosi. At least, the equivalent name to "Nancy Pelosi" appeared at the bottom of the e-mail. Following the response, as a part of the e-mail, was a copy of today's press release on the subject I'd written about. When I forwarded the press release to a friend, at the bottom there appeared a note from the e-mail sender to a top-level assistant (I googled the name,) giving *that* person's name, and personal information about me. Name? Well, I'd used that. Party member? They believe I am, but I'm not. Full address, including phone? Hadn't given that but they had it. Donations to the party in the past? Yes, but that was thirty years ago, and five mailing addresses and phone numbers ago, but they had the current ones. Nobody of this person's standing would have gone thumbing through a phone book or hit the internet searching for that. Any noticeable scars or tattoos? Well, it didn't go quite that far. Some acronyms. At least I'm not VBH. They said I wasn't. What's that? Who's that? Vinnie bin Hussein, Osama's cousin ("nice--he's on our side")? I could have understood MFVBE--"makes for very bad enemy."
As I said above, none of this information appeared on the original e-mail I received, but showed up when I forwarded it.
I'm just thankful that I didn't forward the press release to someone whom I wouldn't want having that degree of personal information about me. And I'm glad I happened to re-read the press release I was sending to my friend, *right to the end* where all of this appeared. Then I left it there, for her amusement. She knows everything about me, anyway.
But it appears others do, too.
