...and now, Scott1. I see no reason why an inquiry about kidney transplants would be the least bit less appropriate here than, say, one about cooking recipes.
I do share Clyde's reservation that the membership here seems at first glance not very likely to have had personal experience with the subject. Even if Clyde can't suggest a more promising venue himself, though, your route to finding one could very well start here.
