The kink camp-out

All the speculation about legalities was for naught.
My date decided yesterday that she isn't ready to dip her toe into the world of kink at this time. She apologized for "seeming like a flake," as she put it, but I don't see anything flaky about knowing your personal boundaries and needs, and I told her so.
The most important aspect of kink, as far as I'm concerned, is personal growth. And this was a good instance of it. Knowing what you want, and do not want, being able to state your desires, and concerns, clearly. Knowing when pushing yourself is a good idea, and when it's not.
I confess I am a little disappointed, but only a little. The wet weather here over this past week, plus a new job commencing on Sunday, would have made our plans more than a little involved.
And that's not even taking into account the possible "Good Samaritans" who might have heard us and decided to come to the rescue (this is meant as wry humor).
