I have seen animals right before, during, and right after they have sex. Dogs, horses, cattle, and some wild animals.
I have noticed that all the animals I have seen have sex have had some form of oral sex before copulation. It's usually the male licking the female before he enters her. I believe that is for cleanliness, not to facilitate lubrication as humans might do, and not to give the female any pleasure. I have rarely seen a female lick the male's member before entering, but I did once, and it was dogs.
Is there any other member of the animal species that appears to use oral sex as foreplay like humans do, and is there any other species that performs oral sex to ejaculation, or is that a human-only activity?
