Those questions bring up such poignant images. I think they represent a very good way to come to terms with the possibility of jealousy.
However, it doesn't have to be just about sex and nothing more and some people can see even love between their partner and others and feel good and secure. The people I mentioned in my post below were long term lovers with my partner. He did develop feelings for the woman that went beyond "just sex" and I felt very comfortable with that. I could see it developing over time and I was happy about it. I can't say I saw them in action after that point or that it seemed that the relationship would ever overshadow mine, but still.
