I think the great myth that needs to be debunked is a single myth about all relationships: that they all follow the same rules. Every person is different; every couple (or more-ple) in a relationship is different; every relationship is different. What works for one may or may not work for another. The same acts may carry totally different meanings in different relationships.
I have no doubt that you could find open relationships that confirm every one of the myths you list about open relationships. I also have no doubt that you could find open relationships that disprove every one of those myths.
