I thought New Orleanians called Terpsicore
Terp-SICK-or-ee.
NO also has a Tchoupitoulas Street (Chop-ih-TOO-luss)
As well as Melpomene (Mel-Puh-MEAN).
A major street in Atlanta is Ponce De Leon Avenue,
and I swear we all pronounce it Pahns - duh-LEE-yawn.
I know the poor man rolls over in his grave every time we say that, but that's what we say.
