That's really the way you see it? Your statement is, to me, the epitome of the necessity of forums like this one. People need to see that their way of decifering things can be MUCH different than what others see on the same page. I would have never thought of it the way you see it, so I'm really glad you posted.
What I see in this circumstance is people using whatever power they legally have to slow down the lives of those they disagree with because of conflicting moralities. Not much different than those that would march in the streets to make a point. That they use the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution is American. That they are willing to give up money to make their point shows dedication to principle. That they are open with their showing of moral outrage is honesty. That they do what is legal to make their point, as opposed to what some would stoop to, like pounding nails into trees to slow down logging, is admirable. That some have to be inconvenienced while they make their point is, sometimes, unavoidable.
That's the way I see it. Completely different than the way you see it. Forums are good.
Examples like this one are the reason I ask so many explicit questions when I read a post that has, to me, foreign ideas that I just don't, at first glance, understand. Sometimes, posts like yours make me read twice or three times before I can "compute" the thinking, because it's so far off the way I saw it, and then I decide whether or not it's something the author really believes, or is posting what is written for the shock value.
Many of your posts keep me thinking.
