I didn't experiment until I was 41 and have thought about it for the last 7 years as to why I hadn't tried it earlier. Although I lived with 2 women in college, one who was a lesbian, I don't think that being with a woman was really of interest. I was interested & sexually attracted to men. I don't think I really had role models for poly or bisexual which I do now. I decided to put "bi-curious" in my profile when my husband and I started to swing together when I saw that terminology. There's other terms that are out now "socially bisexual" (in the right circumstances) and "passively bisexual" (willing to receive but not give). My husband was ok with me seeing women but not other men, so that was another reason to be curious as well as to look for the elusive 2nd woman for a 3some.
