I am one of those men who loves both. In fact, the foreplay between my current partner is more verbal than I have known with any partner previous. She loves "talking dirty", both doing it and hearing it and nothing turns her on faster.
We are a D/s couple so we also use words in a very specific way: she is very turned on by verbal humiliation.
I too, however, loath cunt as a cuss and despite an inordinately foul mouth, never use it. I suspect that it carries the powerful charge that it does, in part because up until relatively recently it couldn't be found in the Oxford English Dictionary. Despite being an old word it was literally banished from the language for most of the twentieth century. The same is not true for various slang terms referring to the male genitalia.
