Did you know...

... that you can do just about any kind of testing you like with the "Preview" function, without actually leaving any traces on the boards afterwards?
A couple of caveats, though -- which you may already have discovered, though not everyone else has:
1. "Preview" seems to use a different page width from "Post," so the lines in your actual post may not break where you expected them to.
2. If you use "&", code, and ";" to display certain characters like angle brackets that have a special meaning in HTML, those characters may turn into actual HTML between Preview and Post. When I do make use of that feature I have to be careful to preview, back up to the original composer window, and post directly from there.
