I am ISADORA ALMAN, MFT,  a Board certified sexologist and a California licensed psychotherapist and counselor. I am a former radio talk show host and frequent radio and TV guest, and a lecturer and workshop leader on a variety of communications topics. "Ask Isadora," my syndicated advice column on sex and relationships, has appeared in newsweeklies nationwide for more than twenty-five years.

My book Doing It: Real People Having Really Good Sex is a collection of sexy suggestions and helpful hints on relationships and sex from  column readers and Forum members. I am also the author of two collections of Q & As from columns: Let's Talk Sex, and Ask Isadora (out of print) as well as Sex Information, May I Help You?, a peek behind the scenes of a sex help phone line (which still flourishes in San Francisco today). I have also produced audio teaching tapes and booklets on the most frequently asked about subjects: meeting new people, enjoying sex with safety and improving couples' communication.
